Juxta Concept is an international Photography and Video Work enterprise founded by The Baron, who started photographing in the mid mid 90's when he felt like the photography would be the perfect way to express his vision of beauty in darkness. He mainly shot on ilford black'n'white film to get the deep contrast he desired. He soon started photographing Helsinki's electronic music events, also shooting flyer images to many of them. 

His career as a performance artist soon took most of his time and the photographing stayed in the shadows, until he found his passion with the camera again in 2015.

Baron became a professional photographer in 2017 when he started to shoot in enclosed studio setting, urban sceneries and live events. He has a massive passion for the visual of Film Noire, and this influence can be vividly seeing in his still images as well as motion picture. He very much enjoys the deep shadows and brilliant whites in his black'n'white work bringing the true depths of the subject into the capture. Barons colour's work is a play on unconventional cinematic colour's palettes where the musky fantasy meets the rough reality. 

Baron captures anything from fashion editorials to live shows, from portraiture to event photo booths and much more.

Black & White photography is his big passion, as he sees so much depth and meaning in monochrome. When he works with colour, he focuses on bringing out rich unconventional, cinematic colour palettes, while capturing the beauty of this world.
